Notes from the Pastor Trusting in the Lord. ( 1) My child, never forget the things I have taught you. Store my Commandments in your heart. ( 2) If you do this, you will live many years, and your live will be satisfying. ( 3) Never let loyalty and kindness leave you! Tie them around your neck as a reminder. Write them deep within your heart. (4 ) Then you will find favor with both God and people, and you will earn a good reputation. (5) Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. (6) Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take. So when you put your trust in Jesus Christ you will be absolutely taken care of in all that you do. He will always provide for you in all that you need to survive in all of your endeavors. ![]() |
I was working on a children's bible study lesson yesterday and felt led to share here too.
1 Peter 4:10-11 10 God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another. 11 Do you have the gift of speaking? Then speak as though God himself were speaking through you. Do you have the gift of helping others? Do it with all the strength and energy that God supplies. Then everything you do will bring glory to God through Jesus Christ. All glory and power to him forever and ever! Amen. God has designed each of us to perfectly fit into His plan. When each of us uses the individual gift he has given us the whole body of Christ works perfectly. Each part is vital to the whole. How far could you travel in a car that had no wheels? Or a missing engine? How about a missing key? Our Lord is the steering wheel (and the designer, builder and the mechanic) - trust Him that he knows the plans he has for us. "They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope." Jeremiah 29:11. Our job is to use our God-given talents to the best of our ability to glorify Him and support one another. ![]() |
